Inappropriate Behavior

Yale, your term preexists my membership.  I fully support where the guild is now so I must thank you for your past leadership in moving us forward.  I am sure you appreciate that any viable organization is a changing organism.  To simply let a group sit without any evolution is an extremely poor sign of leadership.  To indicate that the current leadership is wrong is not supportive of anything and very destructive to the guild itself.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past leadership and to praise and support our current leadership for their thoughtful contributions in moving us to a place more in line with current needs.  I hope you find a group more in line with your beliefs.

With all due respect, I disagree. For those of us physically unable to attend the meeting and offer input I think this is the appropriate for him to discuss this matter.

I don't think this is the right forum for this discussion. You may want to broch this at the Jan. 2024 meeting to get input from a lot of members.

Yale,

I remember years when we focused so heavily on fund raising through the boy scout program that we made a lot fewer toys.  I believe you were president at the time.  I think it was the right thing to do at the time.  I also think fund raising at the state fair is the best way to continue to support our educational programming,  toy program and the McNeely shop.

Good luck.

Yale: Remind me how many toys you made, during your membership.

My opinion, you were an excellent President as we raised a lot of money thru our Boy Scout programs that allowed us to purchase our state of art Video systems.
You'll be missed. Good luck in future endeavors.

Roger

I’m new fairly new to the club. I would like to understand better what your concern is because it sounds to me like a legitimate one. Would you be willing to either elaborate further or private message me your phone number so I could talk to you? Thank you. Mike Andrews.

To all of my CIWW friends.

I have made the difficult decision to not renew my membership in this organization. I truly value the friendships I have acquired over the years and I thoroughly enjoyed leading the club and hopefully making it better.

The past few years have been difficult for me to watch the leaders of this club ask more and more of you in order to continue to raise money for reasons that have never been documented. When I asked what the money was for I was told that I didn’t need to know! I have never agreed with us running a “Craft Fair” at the State Fair especially at the detriment of our toy program. This year we didn’t make 10,000 toys even though we have over triple the membership. Our motto was never “The Land of almost 10,000 toys.

I feel our leaders have lost focus of the mission and have asked way too much of the members.

The final straw was the events that lead to the title of this thread.

I wish you all well and will miss seeing your smiling faces on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

Yale

Thank you. It was inappropriate.
