I am planning to purchase a used 14 inch bandsaw. The problem is the bandsaw is heavy and in a basement. Who has suggestions on how to get the bandsaw out of the basement? Do you have suggestions on who I can contact to help remove the bandsaw from the basement?
14" bandsaw generally come in 4 parts. The table that can be removed, the motor that can be removed from the base, the wheel assembly and covers (leave intact) can be removed
Opps, hit send by mistake. ....remove from the base. The last component is the base. The four parts are easily handled. If you want to pay to have it done reach out to Rockler or Woodcraft. They may have some employees looking for extra cash.
