The members of CIWW are terrific. I had a problem with a glue up and posted an SOS on ask a member. A week later my glue up problem was solved and my project was back on track. Great group of folks. Don’t hesitate to ask because they are more than willing to help Sent from my iPhone

I would agree with Bob,
We pay for a membership to CIWW. With the membership comes the opportunity to ask your fellow woodworkers for some guidance or assistance.
That said, nobody is obligated to do so, but most are willing to help where they can.

Jeff. A few years ago, one of my glue ups came out of the clamps slightly warped. So I put a general question on one of our forums and had several members offer to let me use their panel sander!
I believe this and other forums allow you to query all members about tools they're willing to lend to other members. As a general rule, most of us are willing to help fellow woodworkers, so don't hesitate to share your situation.

Would it be considered improper etiquette for a club member to call or contact another club member to ask if one could use a tool he doesn’t have and the other member does have?
