Glue Line Rip blade
Author Last Post
I’ve been using a Freud GLRB for years and it’s great!  Highly recommend. I clean my in a cheap plastic oil pan (that’s never seen oil!) and let it sit in Simple Green for an hour. Pitch comes right off.

The Harvey Destroyer rip blade is outstanding

Bob,

I've had a Freud 24T thin kerf rip blade (Rockler's LU87R010 for $ 50) for three years now and love it.  It does a good job, leaving just slight blade marks.  But they're light enough I can hit the edge with a plane a couple times and they're gone.

Thanks. I will make sure the plane is sharp too

I have one, it's awesome. Given that, there are still time the surface needs to be dressed with a plane for best result

Has anyone used the Freud glue line rip blade or equivalent. I am thinking about trying one for a glue up that is giving me fits
Thanks

I love mine.

I have one and it does fine.  But even then there are always 'those' boards.  On those the best is use a jointer or jack plane.
