January
Monthly Meeting
presentation:

Tom Nichols
on
Ebonizing Wood

Wednesday, January 21st.
@ Carpenters Union 301 Hall

Social Hour starts at 6:00 PM
Meeting at 7:00 PM

Our next monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 21st, will feature CIWW's own Tom Nichols walking us through the process of Ebonizing Wood.
Ebonizing refers to the staining and treatment of lighter-colored woods to produce the look of ebony, or at least darkening the wood.

Tom's presentation will give us plenty of helpful step-by-step instructions for us to try at home.  You'll be able to easily experiment and develop a recipe that’s right for your piece.

Invite a friend and join us on Wednesday, January 21st.  Doors open at 6:00 PM where a light meal will be available. Then the meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

New Member Breakfast

Saturday, January 31st.
9:00 to 11:00 AM
Carpenters Union 301 Hall

This breakfast is open to all new members who have joined CIWW in the past year.  This breakfast is a time for you to get to know the CIWW leadership and hear more about the many programs and benefits that come with your membership.  We also use this time to hear from you and learn what you want us to include in our program planning for the coming year.

The menu usually includes eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, perhaps bacon, pastries and fruit, and plenty of coffee.  There is no cost, we just ask you to register at the link below so that we know how much food to prepare.

picked up at our January monthly meeting.  See Vince Failla as you enter the Carpenters Union 301 Hall. Or contact Vince for more information at 317-408-7511.

As usual, build 13, keep one for a child or grandchild, and return the other 12 to us at the next monthly meeting.
